In collaboration with National Services, we’re facilitating a Preventative Conservation workshop on August 11th at the museum. Come along and hear Vicki-Anne Heikell (Field Conservator) from the Alexander Turnbull Library offer tips for addressing issues including environmental preventative conservation practice in museums, monitoring building spaces and relative humidity/temperature, disaster preparedness, response and recovery. This workshop will also focus on practical and inexpensive solution for handling and displaying objects and/or taonga.
