Radiogram from Johnson Electrical

This stand-alone radiogram belonged to E. Johnson, who owned and operated Johnson Electrical in Hawera for many years.  The radiogram was used as a display piece and sales prop; it is very elegant, with wood veneer and leopard print fabric.  When the donor decided to donate this radiogram to the Museum, he literally unplugged it from the wall, as it is still in good working order.

If you have information about this radiogram that would be useful for our catalogue, contact the museum on 0800 111 323 or museum@stdc.govt.nz, Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki Heritage Collection 2013.027.5.
