Donations and bequests
The collections of Aotea Utanganui, and the buildings the collections are housed in, are owned and maintained by the South Taranaki District Museum Trust. The generosity of those who make donations directly or through provisions in their Will, greatly assist the future preservation of the South Taranaki district’s heritage. You can help through:
- A cash gift; donations are tax deductible.
- A donation for a specific project.
- A donation to be placed in the Endowment Fund.
- A donation to assist in the daily operations of the Museum.
- A bequest in your Will.
There are two bequest options available. A Residuary bequest is what is leftover in your estate after all the expenses have been settled. A Pecuniary bequest is a specified sum of money in your Will. In preparation of your Will assistance should be sought from your Trustee or your family solicitor to ensure your wishes are clearly and correctly recorded. If you wish to make a donation please contact the Museum Trustees by emailing email@example.com
