Late October sees the start of the Powerco Taranaki Garden Spectacular (formerly Taranaki Rhododendron and Garden Festival) and Fringe Garden Festival. If the wind dies down a bit, Taranaki will be a gardening paradise by the time the festivals open. There is always quite a lot of traffic through South Taranaki for the festivals so we thought we’d get into the floral spirit. On the 27th and 28th of October we’ll be offering some floral crafts for people to enjoy and showcasing a few items from our collections. Throughout October we’ll be posting information here about some of the ‘flowery’ gems in our collections.
